We conceived H₂O Molecular from a decade of work in quantitative environmental molecular biology within the dynamic setting of a wastewater utility. It was here that we pioneered and extensively implemented the “Collection System Investigation Microbial Source Tracking (CSI-MST)” methodology.

Our journey began with the challenge of detecting microbes in diverse environmental samples. This experience led us to be among the first to identify the presence of COVID-19 in wastewater, a testament to our expertise and innovative approach. With a desire to extend our reach and impact, we envisioned a company that would set new standards in water quality and public health. Thus, H₂O Molecular was born, dedicated to transforming water microbiology and molecular services.
